Growing up as the younger of 2 children, my parents joked that my sister or I should be falcons one day. As members of the class of '85 alumni, my mom and dad were brought together at this university- which my grandfather and aunt also attended. My older sister chose a different university, and when it was my turn to look at schools, I never really considered Bentley because of my parents' jokes. As a competitive swimmer interested in marketing, I began to compare my swim times with business school programs. To my amazement, Bentley seemed to be a real fit for me. I came to campus for a swimming recruiting trip during my senior year of high school, and after spending 2 days at Bentley I cancelled my recruiting trips at all of the other schools I was considering. When people say you just get a feeling when youre on the campus of your future home, it couldn't be more true. After only one year as a falcon, I can say without a doubt that Bentley is home to me and always will be. I couldn't be happier to continue my family's legacy as a part of the class of 2019.
