March 28, 2014 is a day that I will never forget. Winning a National Basketball Championship was one of the greatest moments I experienced at Bentley University. The joy it brought not only to myself, but to my teammates, coaches and to the Bentley community is something that will stay with me forever. Seeing hundreds of fellow students, faculty, fans and alumni in the stands in Erie, Pennsylvania that day was one of the strongest feelings of support imaginable.
An accomplishment like that is something that you dream about from the minute you pick up a basketball; it’s something you play over and over in your head, and being able to turn that dream into a reality was simply amazing. Being a part of the Women’s Basketball program helped me grow as a person and build friendships that will last a lifetime. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to bring something this special back to our University. I will always Bleed Bentley Blue, GO FALCONS!
