As a young girl, I remember visiting my aunt who was a undergrad at Bentley and going to watch her boyfriend play for the Bentley Soccer team. The day they graduated there were downpours. My grandfather, age 97, who has attended many many, family graduations, recounts the story of the Bentley graduation saying that it was so rainy that there was a river running between the chairs. Fast forward a few years later and my aunt married her Falcon soccer boyfriend who is now my uncle. A few years down the road, as an adult I found myself again at Bentley where I attended as a graduate student in the MS Human Factors in Information Design Program. When commencement came around, I attended graduation with my family including my six-week old son. I now work at the User Experience Center on campus. I never expected to have such a long and multi-layered history with Bentley that I could trace back to my childhood and am happy to reflect and share a few details of my Bentley story.
