What is the Tomorrow 25?
Bentley University salutes the next generation of leaders with the international Tomorrow25 competition. Launched in 2005 to identify exemplary leaders of tomorrow, the Tomorrow25 program honors 25 outstanding high school juniors with a series of special events on the Bentley campus. The winners receive national recognition and interact with high-profile leaders at the annual Bentley Leadership Forum (all expenses paid), in cooperation with TIME magazine. The Tomorrow25 students also appear in an ad in TIME magazine as part of Bentley’s national campaign.
In addition to the Leadership Forum, Bentley hosts a welcome reception in honor of the Tomorrow25. The reception is a great opportunity for the Tomorrow25 students to meet one another, share common experiences and talk about future plans. Each year several Tomorrow25 winners from previous years attend this event to offer their perspective on how this honor has influenced their lives.
The Tomorrow25 winners are chosen through an international nomination process and selected by an International Advisory Board established by Bentley University. Board members include Tony Buono, professor of management and coordinator of the Alliance for Ethics and Social Responsibility at Bentley University; Charlie Rose, vice president and dean at City Year; Alfonso de Orleans-Borbon, president of Racing Engineering; and Chris Salamone, executive director of Lead America. Nominations were accepted from a wide group of individuals business and community leaders, teachers, school administrators, and guidance counselors.
