Kevin Piskadlo is an Assistant Dean of Academic Services and the Director of the newly created Academic Advising Center. Raised in nearby Wakefield, Kevin attended The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. While in the Nation's Capital, Kevin took advantage of the plethora of political opportunities the city affords.
Discovering an interest in education early in his college career, Kevin worked in both the university's Career Center as well as in the Office of Residence Life where he was a Resident Assistant in the undergraduate Residence Halls. These experiences nurtured a passion for education and for working with college students. Kevin went directly to graduate school where he pursued a Master's Degree in the College of Education at Miami University (OH). While at Miami, Kevin worked as a First Year Advisor and had practicum experiences teaching two courses as well as counseling students in the University's Career Planning and Placement Office. He also completed a practicum in Career Services at Boston University.
Completing his master's degree in May of 1999, Kevin accepted a position as a faculty member and academic advisor in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. While there, Kevin initiated several new programs and fully immersed himself in the campus spirit of the Fighting Irish.
After four years in South Bend, Kevin left Notre Dame to accept a position as Director of Academic Advising at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. In 2006, he was promoted to Assistant Dean and currently directs the newly created Academic Advising Center.
