Undergraduate History Degree

A major in History promotes critical thinking, data analysis, and communication skills. It also provides excellent preparation for careers in professional fields such as business, law, journalism, government, and education.

As a History major, you will participate in broadly based and globally oriented study through a concentration in one of two fields: regional history (American, European, Asian or Latin American/Caribbean) or thematic history (such as social, economic, or military history).

A History degree, combined with a Business Studies program and history internship, provides a particularly attractive program of academic and practical experience. For many career options, it is the ideal professional preparation. History majors can also apply for admission to Bentley's five-year BA/MBA program.

As a History student, you are required to complete either a Business Studies major or minor.
