2001, EDUCAUSE Excellence in Campus Networking Award. Oversaw efforts to integrate technology into the curriculum and design/build multi-million dollar high-tech teaching and learning facilities.

2000, Project Director of the Bentley Technology and Adoption Initiative. Project received grants totaling $275K.

1996, Ph.D. Comprehensive Qualifying Examination chosen to serve as model and placed in permanent University of Michigan library collection.
