Teaching and research areas of interest focus on monetary theory and policy, the determinants of inflation, general macroeconomic modeling, and the heterogeneous behavior of agents. Current research focuses on refining monetary models to explain the costs to an economy imposed by reducing the rate of inflation. Previous teaching experience at the University of Oregon.
