International Initiatives
Welcome to our international alumni homepage. Bentley is actively engaging its international community in many ways: through its newsletter the International Alumni Connection; partnering with companies around the globe by developing prospective internships for current students; a special section in the Observer, called "Compass Points"; and encouraging connections between current students and international alumni, just to name a few. On this site, you’ll find information about:
- Our newly inaugurated International Advisory Committee (IAC)
- Upcoming alumni events and activities
- Pictures from our events around the world
- International chapters and clubs and their contacts
- Links to Bentley departments and offices engaged in international activities and agendas
As these pages are constantly updated with new events, news, and pictures, we invite you to return soon.
International Advisory Committee Inaugurated
Our recent Alumni Weekend saw the first meeting of our newly created International Advisory Committee (IAC). This exciting initiative represents another milestone in Bentley's international focus, which includes a commitment to expand our international academic agenda, deepen ties and awareness between Bentley and our international alumni, strengthen Bentley's brand and name around the world, and broaden our network of corporate connections and partnerships globally through programs such as internships for current students. Twenty-four alumni from 20 countries traveled to the Waltham campus Friday, October 26, 2007, to launch the committee with three days of presentations, strategy sessions and social events with President Gloria Larson, trustees, senior administrators and deans, faculty and current international students. The momentum is strong behind this undertaking, and you can look to these pages to keep you up-to-date on progress. For a list of members, please see our International Advisory Committee page.
