Kevin F. Armata is president and chief executive officer of Windsor Marketing Group Inc., which designs, develops, manufactures and distributes in-store marketing programs for some of the largest retailers in the United States.
In 1976, as a junior at Bentley College, he founded Windsor Marketing Group, which helped grocery stores make shopping easier. Now in its 34th year, Windsor Marketing, which is based in Windsor Locks, Connecticut continues to develop innovative solutions to complex in-store marketing challenges.
Committed to sustainability practices, Windsor Marketing focuses on conserving energy, manufacturing products that minimize environmental impact and working with suppliers who share the same standards.
Mr. Armata is an active participant or board member in several trade and business associations, sits on the boards of many companies, and chairs a private equity firm. He has participated in many industry education forums and seminars. Mr. Armata is an active member of the Chief Executives Organization and the World Presidents Organization. In addition, he supports a wide range of local charities, community groups and civic organizations.
Mr. Armata, who graduated from Bentley in 1978, serves on the boards of Goodwin College and Bentley University. A Bentley trustee since 2008, he currently serves on four committees – marketing, communication and enrollment; information services; university advancement; and physical facilities.
Mr. Armata and his wife Donna live in Suffield, Connecticut. They have three children, Daniel, Montana and Kyler.
