Reunion Weekend FAQs


Where do I go when I arrive on campus?

Your first stop is our Event Headquarters tent, located between the LaCava Center and Rauch. You'll pick up your wristband, which is required for entry into all events.

Do I need to be there at any certain time to check in?

Nope! Our headquarters tent is open Friday, June 2, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you arrive on Thursday, please go to LaCava Center 270 to check in.

Where can I park?

The following lots are designated for guest parking: lots 1, 3, 6, 7, 8 or 9. Please use the main entrance from Forest Street to access parking. Take a look at our campus map.

Where can I find the program? 

Check out the schedule of events here. A limited number of printed copies will be available at the Event Headquarters Tent.

I don't remember what activities I registered for.

You should have received a confirmation email from with your personal itinerary. If you can't find it, we'll be able to print a copy when you arrive. 

What should I wear?

Suggested attire for all events is casual (e.g., shorts, polo shirts, comfortable shoes, etc.) with the exception of the Blue and Gold Society Induction and Dinner, the Night at the Pops and the President’s Club Centennial Celebration, for which we recommend business attire (suit or sport coat and tie for men; dress, skirt or pantsuit for women). Please note that many events take place under tents on grass. If you choose to wear high heels, we recommend wedges!

If you're a member of the President's Club and would like to change for the reception on Saturday evening, designated areas will be available. Check in at Event Headquarters.

Will I receive event admission tickets?

Tickets will be distributed at Symphony Hall to those Blue and Gold Society members who will attend the Boston Pops event. Otherwise, no events require a ticket. 

I registered for on-campus housing. How do I know where I'm staying?

Housing assignments and keys will be distributed at the Event Headquarters tent.

Is my registration refundable?

Reunion Weekend and Centennial Finale events and housing fees are refundable until May 26, 2017, by contacting the Center for Alumni, Parents and Friends at or 781.891.2025. We will not issue any refunds for events or housing after May 26, 2017.  

Can I register on site?

You may register on site any time during Reunion Weekend and Centennial Finale at the Event Headquarter Tent. We encourage you to register as early as possible so that we can ensure there is enough food, drink and staff on hand for all guests.

How do I change or add to my registration once it has been submitted?

You may add to your registration by clicking the link in your confirmation email. You may add events and/or guests to your original registration at any time before June 2. To make changes to your registration or housing, please call the Center for Alumni, Parents and Friends at 781.891.2025.

How do I find out who is attending Reunion Weekend?

Take a look at the attendee list.

Can I use a credit card at the cash bars?

Bars are cash only; no credit cards will be accepted. There are ATMs on campus for your convenience.

How do I sign into the WiFi?

What is the invite-only President's Club reception?

This is a special event for our leadership donors and a guest to thank them for their generous support of Bentley. More information on how to join can be found here.

Why should I make a gift to Bentley?

With tuition only covering approximately 90 percent of what it costs to attend Bentley and with 75 percent of our students receiving financial aid, we rely on other avenues to keep our doors open. Honor your time at Bentley by making a gift today!

Will David Ortiz sign an autograph during the Q&A session?

Because we want to respect everyone's time and give as many people as possible a chance to ask questions, there will not be an opportunity for photos or autographs from David Ortiz.

Will the Bentley University bookstore be open?

Yes, the bookstore will be open throughout the weekend. Detailed information regarding the hours of operation will be available at the Event Headquarters Tent. You will receive a 10 percent discount on all insignia items by showing your name badge or wristband. 

Will the Dana Center be open?

Yes, the Fitness Center (first floor) will be open on Saturday, June 3, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

How do I obtain an alumni ID card?

You may obtain an alumni ID card at the Callahan Police Station card office. See the program for specific hours of operation.  

Is there a lost and found? 

Yes, University Police maintains the lost and found for the campus. University Police is located in the Callahan Station, across from the Student Center. The phone number is 781.891.2201  

Is there anything special happening for the 25th and 50th Reunion Classes? 

If you are a member of the Class of 1992 or Class of 1967, please be sure to make yourself available to participate in two events on Saturday afternoon. The 25th and 50th reunion classes will gather to have their pictures taken on the Library steps at 12:45 p.m., and then will be honored at the Reunion Rally at 1:00 p.m. 

What is the rain policy?

In the case of inclement weather, check @bentleyalumni on Twitter or Bentley University Alumni on Facebook for updates. The majority of events will be held rain or shine. 

Is there a hashtag? 

Tag your pictures and posts with #BentleyReunion or #Bentley100 on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for a chance to win!


Are handicapped-accessible rooms available?

Yes. If you need a handicapped-accessible room, please make note in the “special requests” section of the housing registration.

What is provided in the suites/apartments?

A pillow and XL twin sheet set will be provided for each bed, but we do recommend bringing an extra blanket as the New England weather is unpredictable. Towels and a washcloth will also be provided for guests. Each suite/apartment has a kitchenette. Trash bags and toilet paper will be provided. Free WiFi is available, but there are no televisions in the suites/apartments. Each suite/apartment is equipped with air conditioning.

What should I bring to my suite or apartment?

We recommend you bring an extra blanket, personal toiletries, hand soap and hand towels, and paper products such as paper towels, tissues, cups and plates.

Can children stay in the residence halls?

Yes, children are permitted to stay in the residence halls under adult supervision. Bentley will not provide childcare in the residence halls.  

Can I bring alcohol into the residence halls?

Kegs are not allowed in the residence halls, but all other alcohol in reasonable amounts is permitted for those 21 years or older.
