Student Alumni Leadership Council

The Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) is a new group of students, formed at the request of Bentley leadership, committed to creating a culture of philanthropy while providing meaningful interactions between past and present Bentley students. The council works to plan and execute campus activities, special events and philanthropic initiatives – all geared toward honoring Bentley's rich history and connecting with dedicated alumni.

SALC kicked off the first-ever student body awareness and fundraising campaign in the spring of 2013. The campaign began with Philanthropy Week, which worked to educate students about Bentley’s non-profit status. Students, faculty, and staff came together to support the campaign and we had a successful first year. This inaugural campaign marks the beginning of a new tradition of philanthropy education and discussion across campus.

President Gloria Cordes Larson hosted a thank-you ice cream party at her house for student donors on April 30, 2013.
