Koslosky, Reinckens Selected as Bentley Women's Swimming Captains

WALTHAM, Mass. -- The captains of the 2009-10 Bentley University women's swimming and diving teams will be seniors Erin Koslosky (Washington Depot, Conn./Shepaug Valley HS) and Kristen Reinckens (Hudson, N.Y./Hudson HS), coach Mary Kay Samko announced.

Koskosky specializes in the freestyle and the individual medley while Reickens' top events are the backstroke and the sprints.

Koskosky helped Bentley finish in the top four of two freestyle relays at the 2008 Northeast-10 Championships, and was 18th in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships last February.

Reinckens, at the 2009 NEISDA Championships, was eighth in the 100 backstroke, 14th in the 200 back and 15th in the 50 back. As a sophomore, she helped Bentley finish second in the 200 medley relay at the 2008 NEISDA Championships and third in the same event in the 2007 Northeast-10 Championships.

Bentley opens its season this week with a pair of meets, home against Gordon Wednesday night and at Le Moyne Saturday afternoon.
