2008-09 Season

Finished his career 17th on Bentley’s all-time scoring list with 1,391 points Â… as a senior, earned numerous honors, including 1st-team All-Northeast-10, 1st-team NABC All-East,  2nd-team Daktronics All-East and 2nd-team All-ECAC Division II ... was also an honorable mention Division II Bulletin All-America Â… averaged 16.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals while shooting 47 percent from the field ... was Bentley’s top scorer in conference play with 17.5 ppg ... in the NE-10 statistics, was seventh in three-point percentage, ninth in scoring, 11th in free throw percentage and 11th in three-pointers made Â… in home games, averaged 18.3 points, shot 52 percent overall and made38 of 85 three-pointers (.447) Â… scored his 1,000th career point as a collegian during his 20-point game Nov. 8 vs. St. Martin’s ... his 1500th point, including 138 from his year at Cal Poly, came Mar. 14 against Bridgeport ... became Bentley’s 44th 1,000-point scorer Dec. 8 at Saint Rose ... in same game, had a career-best 29 points and tied Bentley single game record with eight three-pointers ... had ten 20-point games, the last coming against Saint Anselm Mar.3 ... eight steals against St. Michael’s on Jan. 8 was a school record ... had his only career double-double on Nov. 15 with 23 points and 11 rebounds against Holy Family ... was 10-of-11 from the field in that game, only the eighth time a Bentley player has shot at least 90% with a minimum of 10 field goals ... named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll ten times Â… participated in the NABC Hall of Fame All-Star Classic.

2007-08 Season

Was the team’s second-leading scorer for the second straight year, averaging 13.9 points ... led team in free throw percentage and was second in three-pointers and offensive rebounds ... was third in rebounds and assists ... most of his numbers were up from his sophomore year ... his play earned him All-Northeast-10 second team, All-ECAC Division II second team and NABC Division II All-Northeast Region second team honors ... scored in doubles 26 times, and reached the 20-point mark in eight games ... five of those came in a nine-game stretch from Jan. 16-Feb. 13 ... season-best 25 points (10-13 fg, 5-7 3’s) Jan. 19 vs. Saint Rose ... tied the school record by sinking all six of his three-pointers Dec. 11 against Merrimack ... averaged 18 points in the Elite Eight with 19 against North Alabama and 17 in the Winona State game ... just missed a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds at Merrimack Jan. 30 ... in the NE-10 stats, was sixth in free throw percentage, 15th in three-point accuracy and 16th in scoring ... Northeast-10 Player of the Week twice (Jan. 22-co, Mar. 31) and NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll five times ... named to All-Tournament Team at Elite Eight and Shepherd Clarion Hotel Tip-Off Classic.

2006-07 Season

Was second on the team in scoring, with his norm of 12.2 ppg placing him just behind Fritsch (12.3) ... also second in steals ... was Falcons’ top scorer in Northeast-10 contests, averaging 13.2 ... started Bentley’s first 23 games and came off the bench for the last seven ... in the NCAA Regional, averaged 14.3 points and shot 59 percent ... that performance earned him a berth on the All-Tournament Team and Player of the Week honors in the Northeast-10 ... in January, averaged 18.5 points with a .526 field goal percentage ... had seven 20-point games, with a high of 27 at Le Moyne Jan. 13 ... also scored 24 at Southern Connecticut Jan. 3 and 22 against both Merrimack Jan. 31 and Bridgeport Mar. 11 ... came within a rebound of a double-double Jan. 9 vs. Franklin Pierce ... ranked ninth in the Northeast-10 in free throw percentage and tenth in steals ...  was named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll four times.

2005-06 Season

Was a red-shirt during his first year at Bentley after transferring from Cal Poly. 

2004-05 Season

Played one season at Cal Poly of the Big West  Conference ... averaged 16.8 minutes per game as a freshman for the Mustangs ... started four games ... averaged 5.3 points per game with highs of 16 against the University of Idaho Feb. 5 and 13 against Long Beach State Dec. 30 ...  scored 10 points in both contests against NCAA participant University of Pacific, Jan. 2 and Jan. 20 ... had six assists against Cal-Riverside Feb. 24 in an 83-81 win.

Before College 

2004 graduate of Lexington High School, where he played two years with former Bentley teammate Danny Lawson ... was a two-year team captain, Middlesex League All-Star, and Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic ... co-Player of the Year in  Middlesex League as a senior after averaging 22.1 points, 7.5 assists and six rebounds ... scored career-best 40 vs. Wilbur Cross ... helped Lexington to four league championships.

Personal

Is majoring in management ... age as of Nov. 15: 21 ... son of George and Marsha Finnegan ... has both a sister, Eleanor (27), and brother, Tom (26) ... Tom played basketball at Trinity ... father graduated from Bentley in 1975 and was a member of the college’s first-ever varsity soccer team (1972).
