Prospective PhD Students
In fall 2006, Bentley will welcome its first class of doctoral students, pursuing their PhD in either Accountancy or Business. Bentley launched this doctoral program as the demand for business PhDs is exploding. Our research indicates that business schools will seek specific talents in their new faculty members, including a publication record, teaching experience and subject domain and methods expertise. The Bentley PhD program is designed to produce a new generation of scholar-teacher-practitioners who precisely fit that description. Those who enter our program will leave it eminently prepared for rewarding careers in academia, business, or both.
