Boston and Cambridge

Head to the Hub

Looking to have fun, land a cool job, and meet people from around the world? You’ll do that and more at Bentley.

Bentley’s hometown, Waltham, is a hot spot for young professionals. No matter what your taste or budget, there’s a restaurant here for everyone -- Mexican, Italian, Irish, Thai, Indian, and more. Need a study break? Head to Moody Street to browse the art galleries and bookstores, grab a homemade ice cream at Lizzy’s, or catch the latest Sundance flick at the Embassy Cinema.

Boston and Cambridge -- two of the top college towns in the U.S. -- are just minutes from campus. If you don’t have wheels, the Bentley shuttle runs regularly to Harvard Square in Cambridge; from there, it’s a quick subway ride into Boston.

For fun, hit the upscale shops of Boston’s Newbury Street and Copley Plaza or the funky boutiques of Harvard Square. You’ll find tons of nightlife, too, in Kendall Square, Lansdowne Street and Faneuil Hall. Cultural destinations like the Museum of Fine Arts, Symphony Hall and the Shubert Theater are plentiful, and history buffs will enjoy Boston Common, the Freedom Trail and the USS Constitution. A taste of Boston sports mania can be yours with a ticket to the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, or Patriots.

Boston is also a great spot for internships and jobs. Gillette, TJX Companies, State Street, Reebok, EMC Corp., Staples, Talbots and Analog Devices are just a few of the world- class companies headquartered locally.

"Boston is an amazing city that has a lot to offer. It is very accessible by shuttle. It's the perfect distance from Bentley because it's always available to you yet you don't get caught up in all the hype that's going on in the city. Bentley strikes a perfect balance between academics and recreation."
