Team Up
Everyone wants a well-rounded college experience, right? Well, Bentley works hard to make sure that your time spent outside the classroom is as rewarding as possible.
Recreational athletes looking to stay in shape can get a great workout at the newly renovated, state-of-the-art Dana Athletic Center. The 30,000 square-foot renovation included a two-floor, 10,000 square-foot fitness facility; a new dining area and food court; a new facade and entrance, including a pedestrian plaza. The athletic center also includes Precor treadmills, stationary bikes, StairMaster and Nautilus machines, and free weights. Staff members can introduce you to the equipment and offer advice on developing a personal workout routine. Other resources include basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts, a dance studio, indoor track, and 25-meter pool with diving tank. Getting fit doesn’t have to mean going far: Many residence halls and apartments have their own in-house workout space as well.
If you’re a team player, join one of Bentley’s 23 varsity squads. Our NCAA Division II program is outstanding; Bentley has been named the best overall athletic program in the Northeast-10 Conference seven times.
There are plenty of opportunities for competitors in the intramural program as well. Flag football, floor hockey, basketball, softball and soccer are some of the most popular choices.
