Visiting Scholars Program

One of the great resources of the Center for Business Ethics (CBE) is the Visiting Scholars Program that has been operating for over fifteen years. During this period, we have had scholars from at least 15 countries in addition to several from the United States. Some of the countries represented include Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Spain, and South Africa, among others.  Visiting Scholars may work at CBE for a period as short as a few days or as long as a year.  During this period they will work in the collegial setting of the Center for Business Ethics and the Bentley community to advance their PhD dissertation or a particular research project.

Certainly we at the center gain as much from these Visiting Scholars as we give to them. During their stays with us they have furthered their research into many aspects of business ethics and corporate social responsibility. After completing their stays with us, they return better equipped to contribute to the development of the field of business ethics both in the United States and abroad. Moreover, they join the ranks of a growing international network of friends of Bentley and CBE.
