The ATC assists faculty in the use of specialized statistical software and databases for instruction and academic research. The ATC also provides support with statistical analysis of data, research methods and survey design.
Tumen Bayar, Senior Research Consultant, and Maria Skaletsky, Research Consultant, are available to meet individually with faculty to give data analysis and statistical support for faculty research projects, and help with designing and sampling issues for surveys.
Workshops are also given on a regular basis through the ATC (workshop schedule). Recent research related workshop topics include:
- NVivo
- SPSS – User-friendly statistical analysis
- SPSS – Text analysis software
- Statistical Analysis using STATA
- WRDS (Access to Research Databases Simplified)
The faculty members are welcome to request a workshop or individual session on any of these topics.
