Academic Technology Center

Video Production

The video production area of the Academic Technology Center is involved in two distinct types of video/audio production. The first is video taping to support the curriculum. Typical requests that fall within this category are:

  • student presentations and feedback learning tapes
  • role plays, skits and negotiation simulations
  • guest speakers in the classroom
  • guest speakers in the Wilder pavilion or Koumantzelis auditorium – of long term value

The second is the production of technically advanced video, audio and streamed media for course development. These types of productions would include:

  • video/audio for multimedia presentations
  • video/audio for web applications (ie. avi, wav, mpeg, streaming audio and/or video)
  • case study videotapes
  • For such purposes, the ATC can provide a full range of recording and editing services. Requests for
  • Video production should be directed to Steve Salina, Manager of Instructional and Research Video Technologies at x2635.*

The video production area also has equipment for loan, such as cameras, tripods and microphones for videotaping of events that do not fall into either of the two categories above. Please call x2635 for more information or to request equipment for loan.

*Due to limited resources, requests are subject to review on a case by case basis by the Director of Academic Technology and the Academic Dean.
