Mission Statement
Our mission is to connect with younger underprivileged youths and help them be able to express themselves in a healthy and safe environment. We want it to be a fun two hours where there doesn’t have to be any worries and everyone enjoy some time away from books and technology. We want a care free and no judgment zone. Also we would like to challenge both students and community members to examine their lifestyle and find/adopt active and creative ways to be healthy and have fun.
Program Description
Get Up N’ Move enables Bentley students to show community members that there are many fun ways to stay healthy and gain new friends. Dancing and other forms of fitness improve self-esteem and allow students and participants to express themselves in a safe and fun environment. This program will give kids an alternative activity that will enrich their lives and help them build and maintain a healthy and fun life. The program will include different types of dancing, yoga, fitness, and zumba.
