What does money mean to consumers? Why is getting motivated to budget and track spending so daunting? What prevents people from being more responsible with saving and spending when they know they should?
In this fast-paced talk, hear findings from qualitative research done across financial projects on how consumers think about and manage their money… the motivations, beliefs, attitudes and actions, as well as what consumers will and won’t do to be more responsible with money.
This talk will help you understand some of the underlying beliefs that people have around money, and hopefully will help our community create designs for tools, websites and products that enable people to make more informed, better financial choices.
