Audrey Chen is the Creative Director for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where she works to make financial and regulatory products both more usable and transparent. From 2004-2008 she worked at Comedy Central where she was the Director of Information Architecture, a department she also established to focus on usability. While there, she oversaw the user experience of many leading projects including the Daily Show, Colbert Report and South Park digital properties.
Audrey has worked with numerous organizations such as ABC News, AOL, MTV Networks, various startups, and non-profits. She has been a guest speaker at conferences such as UX Week and taught at Parsons School of Design. Audrey received a degree in Art and Mathematics from Williams College before attending ITP at New York University. She lives in Brooklyn.
