Sue Burton is the head of ASA’s consumer experience transformation, leading the design and delivery of a game-changing financial education experience. ASA’s mission is to help students successfully manage higher education financing and debt repayment. Sue leads the development of a portfolio of initiatives designed to help students lower their total cost of attendance, inventively discover options for covering school costs, and wisely manage any debt they incur. She and her team are working to creatively incorporate elements of behavioral finance, content marketing, and Gamification to create an experience that students find uniquely simple, useful and motivating.
Previously, Sue designed a series of consumer financial experiences for Fidelity Investments and JPMorgan Chase, where she used behavioral finance and personalized content marketing to redefine their 401K enrollment and rollover experience. Sue is also a reformed student loan marketer eager to help students better understand and manage student debt. Sue earned her BS in Business Communications from Bentley University and has successfully repaid all her student loans.
