Risk in the Global Economy
Jay Sultan has been analyzing the effect that terrorism activities have on financial markets. He’s finding that not all markets react in the same way. And, not all terrorist groups have the same impact. But in every country, risk premium increases significantly in response to terrorism. Ultimately, Professor Sultan’s work will help investors to better understand, measure and manage risk resulting from terrorism around the world.
