Benefits

A student enrolled in the Five-Year Graduate School Preparatory Program (GSP Program) can...

  • Earn two degrees in five years.

A student enrolled in the Five-Year GSP Program who receives a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Undergraduate College will need 12 courses to complete the Bentley Evening MBA Program and 10 courses to complete a Master of Science (MS) degree.

The typical course load of a full-time graduate student is: fall term – 4 classes, spring term – 4 classes, and summer session – 2 classes. With careful planning, an MS degree can be completed within 12 months or 3 semesters.

A student in the GSP Program who wants to pursue the Evening MBA Program should plan on needing more than 3 semesters to complete their degree as the program requires 12 (vs. 10) classes.

  • Get a head start on your Graduate Program by taking graduate courses in a Blended Term during the final term of the senior year.

Taking a graduate course allows a student to begin the process of developing a broader understanding of complex business issues. The student will also benefit from being in the classroom with McCallum Graduate Business School students who, on the average, have 4 to 6 years of post-graduate work experience.

  • Waive the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) for admission to the Bentley McCallum Graduate School of Business.

Students that successfully complete the Five-Year GSP Program will not be required to submit GMAT scores as part of the application to the McCallum Graduate School of Business. Please note, however, all applicants to the McCallum Graduate School that wish to be considered for merit-based aid must submit a GMAT score. Please review the Merit-Based Aid Policy for Five-Year Students that appears in the "Financial Assistance" section of the website for more information regarding this policy.
