Welcome to Bentley University! Please take the time to read the following information before you begin to fill out your housing application.
Room Types & Rates
While most first-year residents will be assigned to a double room, the following styles are also availble within the first-year area:
|Style||Semester Rate||Annual Rate||Number Available|
Students will be asked to rank their top two 'style' preferences on the application. The Residential Center will work hard to assign each student to one of their top two preferences, but please be aware, in order to make the most efficient use of the housing inventory, students may be assigned to any one of the four room types.
Please note that Bentley Univesity is a smoke free campus as of June 1st, 2016.
Board Types & Rates
First-Year residents must maintain one of the following board plans while living on campus
|Meal Plan||Swipes/Week||Discretionary||Semester Rate||Annual Rate|
All first-year residents will be assigned the Unlimited Meal Plan to start. However, in early July, students may change their plan through MyBentley if so desired. Meal plan changes must be submitted by Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
Mixed, Single Gender Living, & Gender Inclusive Housing
Residence hall floors are designed for co-ed living and if you are interested in a floor that is single sex, you may request that through the housing application, but it is not guaranteed. Bentley University is committed to creating an affirming community for our transgender, genderqueer, and gender non-conforming students. The Residential Center will work with students to find a housing situation that is affirming and will support each student’s academic growth. If you would like to speak with someone contact Kathryn Keyes, Associate Director of the Residential Center at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bentley residents with a medical condition, one which requires a specific style of housing, can petition the Residential Center to obtain a relevant accommodation in housing for the 2017 – 2018 academic year. The petition process for Medical Housing is a pre-selection process, with all approved applicants securing an appropriate assignment before the regular 2017 – 2018 Housing Selection Process begins. In order to be considered for a medical petition will need to submit all appropriate documents prior to June 22nd, 2017. Further information regarding the documents required and who to contact can be found here: Housing and Meal Plan Medical Accomodation
