At the McCallum Graduate School of Business, we believe that your liberal arts studies have given you many of the skills needed to become a well-rounded businessperson. Our job is to add to your existing skill set by providing a foundation in business and technology that today’s leading companies require. That’s why we’ve developed the Business Gateway Program – a comprehensive eight week program designed specifically for liberal arts students interested in exploring a career in business.
I know we can make a real difference in your career. You see, before joining the Finance Department at Bentley College, I worked for nearly 20 years in the high-tech industry. One of my positions was Director of the Financial Development Program for a $13B global corporation. My job was to recruit, develop and place promising new hires into management positions within the company.
Without exception, the people who graduated from the program and went on to make significant contributions were people who integrated two distinct skill sets: a strong technical foundation coupled with a well-rounded perspective. By “well-rounded,” I mean someone who sees the bigger picture, appreciates and integrates a variety of viewpoints, values integrity, respects diversity and communicates passionately and clearly.
