Meena Kothandaraman has more than 13 years’ experience in usability-related tasks that encompass key aspects of the design life cycle: data gathering, task analysis, interface design, prototyping and usability testing. She applies these techniques in areas ranging range from software applications design to Web-to-wireless products. Her work demonstrates a strong belief in the importance of the customer experience and its role in generating ROI for companies of all kinds.
In addition to contributing articles to Forrester Research and InfoWorld, Kothandaraman has taught courses on web design and usability testing, and facilitated design workshops that employ the “white room” concept for creative problem solving.
Kothandaraman’s background includes managing the customer experience team at Scient Corporation, and consulting work for Human Factors International and Cambridge Technology Partners. She continues to consult in addition to teaching in the MSHFID program at Bentley.
