Robert Virzi is a senior user experience designer with a 25-year career in creating user interfaces and conducting user-centered research. The work involves heuristic reviews, usability testing, performance testing, card sorting, low-fidelity prototyping, remote testing, ethnographic analysis, contextual inquiry, competitive analysis, survey creation and statistics.
Earlier, as a principal member of the technical staff at Verizon Wireless, he delivered user interface designs and customer research for mobile applications on a variety of devices. Before that, Virzi was technical lead at Verizon and GTE Labs, with responsibility for lab and field evaluations to optimize the end-to-end user experience for all broadband products and services. With credits that include than 25 peer-reviewed papers and 10 U.S. patents, Virzi is an internationally recognized contributor to the usability profession.
