The Design and Usability Center (DUC) and its full-time staff of user experience professionals provide consulting services to clients around the globe. MSHFID students accepted to the Graduate Assistantship program can receive financial support and gain valuable experience by working on projects in the DUC.

The center is staffed by six full-time user experience researchers who consult to diverse clients in the U.S. and abroad. Leading companies and other organizations tap our resources for a range of services along the UX lifecycle, from research and design to testing and competitive analysis before the release of new products into the marketplace. Many clients return to recruit our students for their specialized expertise.
