Information for International Applicants

To facilitate processing of I-20 visas, international students must use the name that appears on their passport on all communication and application materials.

As of July 15, 2016, we will be switching to a new application system. If you have started a current application that hasn’t been submitted, please do so before July 15 to ensure your application is received. After this date you will need to restart the application process as we’re not able to convert partially completed files. As the July 15 deadline approaches, we strongly recommend new applicants wait until August to apply when the new application process will be live.

Using alternative names can cause delays and, in some cases, rejection of I-20 requests. International students should also include a photocopy of their passport name page with the admission application.

International students who are offered admission to Bentley will be required to complete an International Student Data form (PDF) and Confirmation of Financial Resources form (PDF). Please note that these materials should NOT be submitted until you receive admission to the graduate school.

TOEFL waivers will only be granted to international students who have received their undergraduate degree at an institution in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or Uganda. Students must have attended the institution for the entire duration of their degree program. Satellite campuses are not applicable.

International students may be required to participate in the “English Language and American Culture Institute” (ELACI) program prior to beginning their program studies. Students will be selected for this program based on TOEFL and interview results. Details on the ELACI program can be found here.
