Fees and Expenses

Additional fees and expenses you may incur include:

Health Insurance

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires full-time graduate students to have health insurance. Students who are not insured must purchase coverage, which is available through Bentley for approximately $1,453 per year. All full-time students are charged for this insurance plan, then given the opportunity to waive coverage upon providing proof of participation in a comparable plan. Books may be purchased in the university bookstore, located in the Collins Hall. Expenditures for books vary considerably, but average about $165 per course.

These fees go to the Graduate Student Association to support organizations and events that enrich graduate student life at Bentley. The activity fee for part-time students is $17.50 per semester; full-time students pay $102 per semester.

Technology Fee

This fee helps to offset the cost of supporting computing services, software licenses, network connectivity, campus infrastructure, and facility upgrades. The technology fee is $35 per semester for part-time students and $100 per semester for full-time students.
