Career Events and Job Fairs
More than 150 employers attend Bentley’s biannual career fairs, held every October and February, where they recruit and network with students and promote internship and post-graduate job opportunities for all concentrations. These large-scale events provide excellent opportunities to connect with top employers. Two additional recruiting and networking events that take place every year are tailored for graduate students: Executive Exchange (in November) and Straight Talk: Insights from Industry Insiders (in March).
Employer Information Sessions
During these small-group sessions, individual employers share insights about their corporate culture, career pathing and recruiting, often combined with on-campus interviews of qualified candidates.
First-time visitors to the Career Services office and advanced job-seekers alike can schedule an appointment with their dedicated career adviser.
Virtual Career Center
Guidance on creating résumés and cover letters, interviewing, networking, conducting an out-of-state job search, and other relevant topics is housed in the Virtual Career Center, located on BentleyLink.
Jobs and Internships
Get details on thousands of jobs and internships through the Jobs tab in BentleyLink, a web-based, fully automated campus recruiting program that enables graduate students to meet and interview with recruiting representatives from various companies.
The Campus Recruiting program is designed to meet the hiring needs of leading organizations. Each year, approximately 200 local, regional and national employers visit the campus to conduct initial interviews with eligible students who are seeking full-time or internship opportunities. Employers make interview decisions on all candidates approximately one week before the interview date. This allows adequate time for candidates to sign up for an interview time. If you are selected to interview, you will receive an email from the Recruiting Office instructing you to sign up for an interview time in the BentleyLink system.
Career panels, information sessions, workshops and programs are all detailed under the Events tab in BentleyLink. You will find opportunities to:
- Enhance your knowledge of specific companies, industries or functional roles;
- Use networking opportunities to meet with employers and alumni;
- Develop your job search skills through résumé workshops, cover letter clinics, interview workshops and many more!
Companies post their information sessions so you can mark your calendar and attend those that interest you. The Events tab also includes information about Bentley’s Career Fairs.
Access company profiles via the Employers tab in BentleyLink. Browse all employer profiles, designate favorites among those that have a relationship with Career Services, and apply to available positions from within this tab.
