Gerri Taylor, MS, APRN, BC

Gerri has worked at Bentley Student Health Services since 1987. She received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Connecticut. She worked with acutely ill patients at New England Medical Center and then taught at Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in Boston and Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing in New Jersey. She began her graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and then relocated back to Boston in 1984 and received her M.S. from Boston University in 1986. She has been board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner since 1986. She became Director of Student Health Services in 1994, Coordinator of Health Education in 2002 and Assistant Dean for Health and Prevention in 2004. She has a passion for Bentley and strives to create an environment where faculty, staff and students work together towards a healthy community environment, where we all can grow and flourish. Gerri is a vocal advocate for the GLBT community. Gerri is the advisor to the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She has always loved working with young adults and has special interests and experience in the areas of psychological/emotional issues, eating issues, women's health, men's health and urgent care. She enjoys talking to students about various health issues. Gerri enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, seeing independent films and golfing. She recently traveled to Africa and Bahrain and is going to China in September.
