Bentley College

Information and Process Management

The Information and Process Management department is a newly formed academic department to complement two other departments at Bentley that focus on information technology (IT), the Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department and the Information Design and Corporate Communication (IDCC) Department.

Together, the three departments symbolize a core strength of Bentley: preparing students for successful careers in IT-enabled organizations. The Information and Process Management department will focus on the strategic relationship between the business and IT both within and across organizations, particularly within the context of doing business globally. Critical components of the research agenda and business process management information technology curriculum include business process analysis, project management, knowledge management, IT strategy development and assessment, and the analysis of IT investments and their impacts on work, productivity and organizational effectiveness.

The department currently supports several undergraduate courses (GB203, GS601, and GS602) and is in the process of developing academic programs.
