The Bentley Leadership Forum

Global Perspectives in Times of Dramatic Change

The second annual Bentley Leadership Forum will focus on the need for change and adaptation -- not just to survive but to prosper -- in an increasingly complex and competitive global economy. The keynote speakers include His Excellency Noel Fahey, Ireland's ambassador to the U.S, and Peter Weedfald, Samsung Electronics America's senior vice president of Strategic Marketing and New Media.  Joining them is an impressive array of panelists, including Global Director of Marketing for Shell Lubricants Lisa Carlson,  and Senior Director/Artistic Advisor for Carnegie Hall Ara Guzelimian.

Speakers will share insights about their experiences in creating often dramatic change within their organizations. Their stories will illuminate how today's requirement for continual change as technology and globalization shatter complacency and elevate strategic competitiveness to a new art form. The 2006 Bentley Leadership Forum will bring together leaders from the worlds of business, technology, arts and entertainment, and philanthropy to explore ways in which organizations can capitalize on the need for change, rather than being victimized by it.

The panel sessions will be moderated by writers and editors from TIME Magazine and Bentley faculty who will provide insight into the complex, interrelated challenges that 21st century businesses face in their relationships with governments, global workforces, the environment and local communities.

During the lunch program, Bentley will honor the Tomorrow25, outstanding high school juniors who have been chosen through an international competition as our next generation of leaders. The Tomorrow25 demonstrate initiative, citizenship, intelligence, technological savvy, cultural awareness, social responsibility, a passion for the real world of people and organizations, and a commitment to making positive things happen in their communities or schools.

The event will be held on the Bentley campus in Waltham, Massachusetts on Wednesday,  April 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
