Law, Taxation and Financial Planning (LTFP) Program
Welcome to the Law, Taxation and Financial Planning Department
web site. This site is structured to provide the most up to date information on the academic disciplines, programs and opportunities entrusted to our department.
For Undergraduates
The Law, Taxation and Financial Planning Department is home to the increasingly popular undergraduate law minor, which currently boasts 160 enrolled students, as well as the Pre-Law Program. Law minors with a special interest in cyberlaw can pursue the concentration in Cyberlaw Studies.
If cyberlaw interests you, check out the web site of the Bentley Global CyberLaw Center — a resource among the first of its kind in the country!

For McCallum Graduate School Students
For graduate students, the department offers a Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) or the Master of Science in Taxation (MST). Both programs provide the necessary background for graduates to become certified financial planners or certified public accountants —credentials highly in demand among employers!
To learn more about financial planning and taxation courses and programs for graduate students, please visit the Financial Planning and Taxation section of the site.
For Five-Year Program Students
As any lawyer or financial planner will tell you, it pays to think ahead! Students enrolled in the Five-Year Program at Bentley can customize their undergraduate curriculum to streamline their graduate studies if they plan to pursue the MSFP or the MST.
Service-Learning
Undergraduates are also encouraged to undertake service-learning during their time at Bentley, and our department is a strong supporter of the renowned Bentley Service-Learning Center (BSLC).
Another well-received effort of the BSLC is the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, in which Bentley students help members of the local community to prepare their taxes.
