Service Management and Science

Every organization, be it a manufacturer or a service, for profit or not for profit, has customers with whom it interacts with on a daily basis. In today’s highly competitive environment, how a firm interacts with its customers is a major factor in developing loyal customers, who, in turn, determine its long term success. The Service Management and Science concentration focuses on providing students with the ability to analyze, evaluate, and manage the co-creation of value that involves both the firm and the customer in the service delivery process. Courses will introduce students to the theories and concepts of service management and science and demonstrate how they are applied in world class businesses.
