Battista & Stevens Receive Top Division II Honors at WBCA Awards Show

Ten days after capturing the ultimate team honor as undefeated NCAA Division II national champions, Bentley University's Lauren Battista (North Easton/Oliver Ames HS) and Barbara Stevensreceived the two premier Division II individual honors during the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Awards Show Monday evening in Nashville, Tenn.

Team IMPACT Unites Local Kids and Colleges

Joseph (Joey) Glynn

It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform you about the death of a member of our community. Joseph (Joey) Glynn, who just completed his freshman year and was a member of our basketball team, collapsed Monday evening while playing basketball during an Amateur Athletic Union men’s game (a recreational league) in Watertown, Mass. He died later that night at Mount Auburn Hospital.

Southern Illinois University Names Women’s Basketball Locker Room Complex after Former Coach Cindy Scott, Now Bentley Assistant Director of Athletics

Southern Illinois University (SIU) named the new Women’s Basketball locker room complex in honor of former coach Cindy Scott. Scott, who has served as Bentley assistant director of athletics for 14 years, was honored at a ribbon cutting on the SIU campus in October.
