Bentley Receives National Prevention Excellence Award, Recognized for Alcohol Prevention Initiatives

For the second consecutive year, Bentley received the 2007-2008 Prevention Excellence Award from Outside the Classroom, Inc. The award honors institutions that have achieved excellence in alcohol prevention efforts -- significantly improving the quality of student life. Jessica Greher, assistant director of Health Education and prevention coordinator of Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Programs at Bentley, accepted the award at a ceremony on March 10 at Top of the Hub in Boston. Bentley was among 10 national finalists, which included the University of Central Florida, College of the Holy Cross, Eastern Illinois University, University of Alabama, University of Connecticut, University of Iowa, and Villanova University.
