September 8, 2009
Bentley University senior Daniel Baruch was recently accepted to the 35th annual Business Today International Conference -- one of only 150 students worldwide. The program, Weathering the Storm: The Challenges and Opportunities of A Global Slowdown, will be held November 22 to 24 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.
More than 70 leading executives from across the country will attend the conference, including speakers Paul Krugman, Nobel Prize-winning economist and New York Times columnist, and Bill Ford Jr., executive chairman and chairman of the Board of Directors of Ford Motor Company. In addition to interacting with top leaders, students will work together to complete a Harvard Business School case study. Baruch is completing a double major in Economics-Finance and Global Perspectives (a concentration of the Liberal Studies major), with a minor in Psychology.
