Gerri Taylor Elected to Board of New England College Health Association

Gerri Taylor M.S., A.N.P., Assistant Dean for Health and Wellness, has been elected to the position of secretary of the Board of Directors of NECHA, the New England College Health Association for 2008 – 2009. She served from 2007 – 2008 as a Member-at-Large.
NECHA’s mission is to serve as a professional organization for individuals who provide health care and programs to members of the higher education community and to be a mechanism by which institutions of higher education and their health services programs improve the health of those they serve. It is comprised of members from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Recently Taylor presented at the annual NECHA regional meeting in Mystic, Connecticut with Margaret Fitzgerald, Assistant Director of the Center for Health & Wellness and Michelle Edmonds, Assistant Director of Student Systems on “Management of Bacterial Meningitis for a Small to Medium Sized College.” The team also presented the program again on December 17, 2008, at Brown University for the Tri-State Consortium.
