Bentley junior Jason Polcaro received a $1,000 scholarship from Beta Gamma Sigma's Boston Area Alumni Chapter. Beta Gamma Sigma is an honor society serving business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition business students worldwide can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

At the Waltham Partnership for Youth (WPY) Board of Directors meeting on June 13th, Waltham Mayor Jeannette McCarthy presented Rick Frese with an official proclamation in recognition of his years of service to the city of Waltham. Among other contributions, Rick has served on the WPY Board of Directors since 1988, with three terms as board president.

In May 2007, Bentley senior Jillian Eldridge was awarded the Women in Accounting Scholarship from the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. The scholarship is geared to encourage women who have demonstrated academic excellence and financial need to pursue a career in public accounting in Massachusetts. Eldridge is an accounting major, a member of the Bentley Honor Society, a President's Academic Scholar, and an accounting intern at Solidworks in Concord, Mass.

Student Eric Chan was awarded the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, and an award from the Freeman-ASIA program. Chan will participate in Bentley's education abroad program at the University of Hong Kong in fall 2007. He is majoring in Corporate Finance and Accounting with a minor in Information Technology. Freeman-ASIA has supported more than 3,000 U.S. undergraduates with their study abroad plans in East and Southeast Asia since the launch of the program in 2000.
