Woolford received the 2013 Distinguished Science Alumni Award from the College of Science at Purdue University, an award that recognizes alumni for outstanding achievement in professional and related fields of endeavor.
As part of a university-wide effort to prevent sexual violence and continue to promote community safety and wellness, Bentley staff and students recently hosted the fifth annual “Consent Day.”
A team of students went head-to-head with top tier schools in the world’s largest student competition in the quest for social good and $1 million USD in start-up funding. A packed room full of students, staff and faculty recently came together to hear from Bentley’s newest partner in learning, Kweku Anno. As a Ghanaian engineer, inventor, social entrepreneur, and global health and sustainability champion, Anno discussed his efforts to improve public health through his company, BioFil.
Bentley advanced to the top 16 out of 80 teams competing in the American Collegiate Moot Court Association National Tournament at Regent University Law School in Virginia in January.
Ten Bentley juniors laced up their running shoes to benefit the pediatric hematology-oncology program at Mass General Hospital for Children.
The Bentley campus community will come together for a student-led vigil to remember the 26 victims of the tragic school shooting. It will be held on the evening of December 17th at 9:15 p.m. in the Back Bay Rooms in the Student Center.
In November, University Distinguished Professor Bob Galliers returned to Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia where he had been Head of the School of Information Systems to give the keynote address and bestow the Galliers Awards on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the School.
