Bentley University welcomes Neal A. Lester as the keynote speaker at the 27th annual celebration breakfast in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Lester, associate vice president of humanities & arts for the Office of Knowledge Enterprise Development and Foundation Professor of English at Arizona State University (ASU), is known for his teaching and scholarship in African American literary and cultural study.
The popular event celebrates Bentley's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) community and honors individuals who proactively foster inclusion on campus.
The publication presented Bentley's special assistant to the president and ombudsman with a Lifetime Achievement Award as part of its 2011 Leaders in Diversity Awards, the publication’s annual program that honors companies and businesspeople for their leadership in promoting inclusiveness and economic opportunity.
