Bill VanderClock Honored for Advocating Service-Learning Among Students

For nearly two decades, Bill VanderClock, lecturer in computer information systems, has incorporated service-learning into his courses, sponsoring nearly 1,000 students in community-based work through embedded and fourth-credit course projects. His efforts were recently recognized with the Bentley Service-Learning Center Distinguished Faculty Award.

Bentley University Marketing Chair Pierre Berthon and Visiting Scholar Philip DesAutels Selected to Serve on International Jury for Globe Award 2011, to be Presented May 12, Sweden

Bentley University visiting scholar Philip DesAutels served as chairman of the jury for the Globe Forum's Globe Award for Sustainability Innovation 2011, which will be presented on May 12 at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre in Sweden. Also serving on the jury of internationally recognized experts was Pierre Berthon, Bentley University marketing professor and Clifford F. Youse Chair of Marketing. DesAutels was also a featured speaker at the 2009 and 2010 Globe Forums.

Page was elected to the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) board of directors for a three-year term which takes effect July 1, 2011.  Page was one of nine prominent management education and business professionals elected by AACSB International members.  AACSB International is a global, nonprofit membership organization of educational institutions, businesses, and other entities devoted to the advancement of management education.
