Bentley College Promotes Andre Bell to Vice President for Marketing, Communication and Enrollment

WALTHAM, Mass.- Bentley College has named Andre L. Bell vice president for marketing, communication and enrollment. Bell, who has served as the college's vice provost and dean for enrollment since 1995, assumed this new position in January. As vice president, he will unify Bentley's many enrollment, marketing, advertising and media relations activities.

Prior to joining Bentley, Bell was at the University of California' Berkeley, where he served as the director of the office of undergraduate admission and relations with schools; at Mills College in Oakland, Calif., where he acted as special assistant to the president for enrollment planning and financial aid; and at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., where he served as the director of financial aid and assistant dean of students.

Bell earned his bachelor of arts (1970) and master of arts in educational administration (1974) degrees from Northwestern University. He currently sits on the boards of directors of the Higher Education Resources Institute of Boston and the Union Baptist Church in Cambridge, Mass. He is a resident of Newton Mass.
