WALTHAM, Mass. - Bentley College is pleased to announce that R. Marcelo Claure, chairman, CEO, and president of Brightstar Corporation, has been elected as a trustee of the college for a term of three years, effective July 1, 2003.

Claure founded Brightstar, a distributor of wireless handsets and services in the wireless telecommunications industry, in 1997. Trustees also help promote Bentley College policies and goals, support fundraising efforts, and serve on Board committees.
