WALTHAM, Mass. - David H. Weener of Andover has been elected chairman of the Bentley College Board of Trustees' Business and Finance Committee. A 1972 graduate of the college, Weener has been a member of the board since 1997.

  WALTHAM, Mass.- Presiding over his first undergraduate commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16, Bentley College President Joseph G. Morone welcomed Digital Equipment Corporation President Robert B. Palmer, who delivered an address to the Class of 1998. Degrees were presented to 876 undergraduate students who hail from 25 states and 53 countries.

Bentley College senior Heidi Anderson, who battled back from leukemia to lead the Falcons volleyball team to the Northeast-10 Conference semifinals, has been named winner of the Honda Inspiration Award, presented annually to the collegiate woman athlete who has overcome great physical adversity to contribute to the recognizable success of her team.
